About the Event
The Great Governance Reset
In a world under pressure, governance is being redefined.
Now in its fifth edition, the Future of Governance Conference returns in 2026 as a European benchmark for
meaningful dialogue in boardroom leadership, institutional transformation, and responsible decision-making.
This year’s theme, “The Great Governance Reset”, invites leaders to reflect, redesign, and reimagine
the core principles that define trust, authority, and resilience in a shifting global landscape.
Born from Envisia’s vision to elevate governance practice across sectors, this event brings together board members,
CEOs, public officials, policy influencers, and scholars to ask: what kind of leadership does tomorrow demand?
Access event details herePhase One: Review & Shortlisting by Category Juries
After the nomination period closes, each Category Jury — composed of independent experts in governance, academia, and business — reviews all eligible submissions for their designated award. Jury members individually assess the entries based on the published criteria and then meet online to deliberate and agree on a shortlist of top 3 entries per category, ranked in order of merit (starting with the proposed winner).
Phase Two: Validation by the Grand Jury
The ranked shortlists are submitted to the Grand Jury, a distinguished panel of senior governance leaders. The Grand Jury reviews the shortlisted entries and validates the final winners for each category based on the rankings and justifications provided by the Category Juries.
Phase Three: Award Decisions & Gala Recognition
Winners are confirmed and notified in advance but officially announced during the Future of Boards Gala. While the judging deliberations are confidential, selected jury remarks may be shared in public communications or event materials, at the discretion of Envisia. Please note: Jury members are not required to provide feedback for every entry. All decisions are final and made with strict adherence to ethical and professional standards.
