Mihai Tantaru is an investment professional with more than 13 years of experience in financial markets, with a background in both sell-side bank treasury and buy-side asset management.

Career in Investment Management

For the past 8 years, he has been part of the NN team managing the largest pension funds in Romania. Since 2019, he has served as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for the NN voluntary pension fund.

In addition to his practical experience, Mihai holds two of the most prestigious international investment charters, CFA and CAIA, complemented by certifications such as the ACI Diploma and the ICMA Fixed Income Certificate.
