Loredana Chitu is Partner and Head of the Capital Markets group in Bucharest, with extensive experience in both equity and debt capital markets. She advises issuers, selling shareholders and investment banks on a variety of local and international transactions.

Equity and debt capital markets

Loredana's practice covers both equity and debt capital markets, advising issuers as well as local and international investment banks across a range of capital markets transactions.

Financial regulation and digital banking

A former transactional banking lawyer, Loredana also covers a broad range of financial regulatory matters, from banking regulation to derivatives and custody arrangements. Her current focus includes digital banking, particularly payment services and e-money services.

M&A and board roles

Loredana also advises on M&A transactions, particularly those involving regulated targets, acting on both the seller and buyer side. She is also a Vice President of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and a Board Member of Electrica.
