Ethical Governance

As one of the most rapidly changing corporate governance environments in the world, Europe represents a microcosm of the exciting innovation happening in the corporate governance arena, ranging from new approaches to board-level corporate governance practices to changes in regulatory requirements at the legislative level. The corporate governance framework now covers a wider range of topics that goes beyond the shareholder-centric approach.

This unique online course offers a detailed account of the EU’s corporate governance landscape relating to financial institutions. It provides a focused examination of specific regulations and practices as well as an assessment of their impact on different structures within financial institutions. The focus will focus around the exposition of internal governance requirements that have been advised by the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Central Bank (ECB).

The goal of the programme is also aligned with the NBR Regulation no. 11/2020, article 65 which stipulates that “Credit institutions must ensure that relevant general training programmes are available to management.”
