AI in the Boardroom: From Conversation to Responsibility

AI in the Boardroom: From Conversation to Responsibility

There is a conversation happening in boardrooms across Romania and Moldova — and it is no longer about whether to adopt AI, but how to lead it responsibly. For too long, AI has been treated as a technology initiative, something delegated to IT departments and data teams while boards and executives waited for results. That model is no longer sufficient. As AI becomes embedded in strategy, operations, and organizational culture, the leaders at the top need to understand it, govern it, and make decisions about it with clarity and confidence. This is precisely the challenge that the AI & Data Strategy MasterClass for Executives & Board Members, organized by AC Tech and ATIC, is designed to address.

What the Masterclass Is About

Taking place on April 22–23 in Bucharest, the two-day program brings together CxOs, Executive Committee members, and Board Members from Romania and Moldova for an immersive, hands-on experience built around one core premise: AI fluency is no longer optional for senior leaders.

The program is structured across two distinct blocks:

  • Day 1, led by Fahed Bizzari — AI Empowerment Leader at Bellamy Aden, Dubai — focuses on mindset and strategic alignment. Through a series of workshops, participants explore why most AI initiatives stall, where the real value sits, and how to build a credible AI investment case. The approach is philosophical and leadership-oriented, designed to move leaders from confusion to clarity.
  • Day 2, led by Vitalie Ursachi and Anatol Poiata from AC Tech Corp, shifts into strategic enablement. Participants work through data maturity frameworks, governance tools, and enterprise-wide AI roadmaps — grounded in real use cases and sector-specific examples. A live demo on the UiPath Agentic Platform brings the theory into practice.

The program also opens with keynote sessions from Carmen Micu (Founding Member & CEO, Envisia) on AI governance and ethical regulation, and from Anatolie Telchiji (Enterprise Sales Executive, UiPath) on agentic automation.

What Participants Take Home

Beyond the sessions themselves, participants leave with a concrete set of tools: an AI Readiness Canvas filled per enterprise, a Quick Wins Tracker Template, a Board-Level AI Governance Checklist, and a Certificate of Participation and Completion.

These are not theoretical frameworks. They are instruments designed to be used — in the next board meeting, in the next strategic planning cycle, in the next conversation about where AI fits in the organization.

Why It Matters Now

The window for passive observation is closing. Boards that understand AI governance today will be better positioned to oversee transformation, manage risk, and unlock competitive advantage. Those that do not will find themselves dependent on information they cannot independently evaluate.
Seats are limited to 40 participants — a deliberate choice to ensure the quality of discussion, peer exchange, and strategic networking that this kind of program requires.
